Organization Alignment: Reports to the Managing Engineer of the Front-end Team You will join other engineers working with a Product Manager to build out features Key Tasks Front End Engineer will collaborate with product managers to empathize with users and understand the WHY behind requested features Have fun puzzling out how to build front-end features Appreciate learning from your teammates as much as you appreciate sharing your knowledge through mentorship As a Front End Engineer, you will write the clean, accessible, maintainable JS, HTML, and CSS that you want to see in the world Reflect on how to structure components and state in front-end applications and strive to continuously improve your own strategies for building front-end applications Creating As a Front End Engineer, you will be crafting accessible, performant UI components Quashing bugs and brainstorming solutions to the problems which our users report Asking questions; Not only in the first 90 days in this role but beyond - asking why we do things the way we do, what the goal of a feature/change is, what we're measuring, how you can help Collaborating Partnering with our product managers and UX Designers to create a breathtaking experience for our users Acting as a great teammate with your fellow engineers: providing useful feedback and working together to find the best ideas Participating in our agile workflow Requirements Professional experience writing accessible, responsive and cross-browser compatible front-end UIs with standards - compliant HTML and CSS/Sass Professional experience building and maintaining modern web applications with front-end frameworks, specifically either using Vue.js or React Familiarity with GitHub, including branching workflows and pull requests Impressive attention to detail, evidenced both in the depth of questions asked when reviewing mockups and in the final result in the browser A love and practice of communicating clearly and openly Kforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
