The Skill

The engineering team is looking for collaborative, passionate, and adaptable Full Stack Developers. In this role, you will work with the product team as well as ensuring leadership understands and contributes to design planning across all Briq products and services.

On a normal day at Briqs Pune office, a Front end developer can be found:

• Overseeing the product deliveries and team output
• Ensuring that the teams are aligned with the overall vision of the product and hitting timelines
• Architecting, designing and implementing product features
• Implementing, and deploying software aligned with the growing demands of our customers
• Establishing organizational practices that scale with our team and products; consistently resulting in high-quality software systems that set industry standards
• Cross-collaborating and communicating to ensure the development of the highest quality product

What you will do:

• Mentor existing and new team members
• Oversee throughput of the team and features
• Identify and resolve roadblocks ahead of time
• Ensure that the team is self sustaining
• Align with product and project managers and ensure proper handoff of requirements
• Develop, test, debug, support, and enhance software as per product specifications
• Ensure the application and features are development with the organizations secure standards
• Maintain strong coding, compliance, and security standards
• Drive complete ownership over every technical aspect of the product
• Work efficiently with continuously evolving requirements

What you need to have:

• Proven experience in building, evolving and leading self sustaining leading competencies
• Proven experience in having strong design principles
• Self-motivated, fast learner with attention to detail and quality
• Willingness to learn new technologies is a must
• Excellent diagnostic, troubleshooting, and communication skills
• Proven ability to project and meet estimated deadlines
• Polyglot programmer with xperience using JavaScript (ES6), SCSS/SASS, Python, and Java
• Understanding of REST principles
• Knowledge of Google Cloud, Microservices, Docker, and Kubernetes, and both SQL & noSQL databases are a major plus
