The NVIDIA DRIVE™ Maps team is looking for passionate individuals to craft and develop cloud native solutions for building HD (high definition) Maps for Autonomous Driving.

NVIDIA DRIVE™ Mapping is an open and scalable solution that can create, update, and localize high-definition (HD) Maps critical for achieving higher levels of autonomy. The advanced sensors and high-performance NVIDIA compute that are laying the foundation for autonomous vehicles are also driving the next generation of HD map development. In this role, you will be developing cloud native scalable web applications to build, and distribute HD Maps for self-driving cars across the world. What You'll Be Doing

• Lead the effort to architectural design, and develop UI frontend for cloud native scalable web applications
• Translating wireframes, and mock ups into high quality code with clear focus on security
• Design and maintain interactive KPI dashboards and workflow management system with highest reusability
• Build pixel perfect and buttery smooth UI across different mobile devices
• Taking ownership and accountability for entire frontend framework
• Collaborate closely with designers, backend engineers, and product managers

What We Need To See

• BS/MS degree in Computer science or related areas
• 6+ years of proven experience building robust software solutions with significant UI Components
• Solid understanding and experience with Object-Oriented design and development, especially using JavaScript (ES5 and ES6+) and TypeScript
• Expert level knowledge on HTML5 CSS3 with other frontend technologies such as LESS, Bootstrap, Material UI, etc.
• Very good understanding of best practices in modern software engineering, coding standards, source code management, build processes, validation, debug and issue tracking
• Excellent interpersonal skills to work in a multicultural multi location team
• Very good problem solving, algorithms and data structures knowledge

Ways To Stand Out From The Crowd

• Prior production experience with React JS and/or other modern frontend frameworks - AngularJS, VueJS and associated tooling (Redux, Jest, Webpack, Babel, Enzyme, Cypress)
• Prior experience with Mapping, GIS, and other location based technologies
• Familiarity with Lidar, Radar and various self-driving sensors
